As promised, a little limerick by me:

There once was an entry for the Jam
In which are other cars you can ram,
Made by Robert3DG,
In glorious 3D,
It attracted first prize for its glam!

This is clearly the best part of the Jam. Everybody's congratulating, the winners are happy, everybody is trying to look like a good sport whilst secretly dying inside.

I'm surprised at the quality of games the Jam is releasing now, we've really come a long way, even my entry was decent this year! Weldone to everybody!

Dying inside? Nah. I'm perfectly happy *twitch* to be second. It's a great honor *twitch*. I don't care about GM:HTML5 *twitch*. It's all *twitch* about the fun *twitch*.

Anybody have any anti-seizure meds I could borrow?

:P

*EDIT* I know I didn't promise it, but masterofhisowndomain's limerick has got me in a poetic mood :P . So, Robert3DG+, here's another limerick just for you:

There was a game named Carmageddon,
As I played it it made my face redden,
With graphics quite smooth
And an atmospheric mood,
I kept crashing as the police tried to get in!

Congrats!

Alright, here it is, it's a bit rushed:

When he saw that the theme was "laws",
he popped a doughnut into his jaws,
he would need all the energy he could get,
and so energized he was, he could barely sit.

He settled upon an idea,
in which the player controlled a car,
and as he grabbed another piece of pizza,
he hoped his game would be up to par.

A fugitive from the police,
the chaos would never cease,
the game was turning out quite nicely,
also the controls had to be written out concisely.

Finally the game was playable,
thanks to all the food on the table,
"Carmageddon" was the name of the game,
a title that was certainly not lame.

The votes were tallied quite speedily,
and as he was preparing for dinner,
he grinned at his food quite greedily,
within hours, it would be announced that he, was the winner!

:\

Is Orange calling me fat? Haha Posted Image

I love it! Thanks a lot orange08 Posted Image

No, you just seem like the type of guy who eats food for inspiration :P

I just hope i get a vote next Jam lol >_>;

Hah! Keep your chin up, the only reason my last Jam game wasn't voted dead last is because IQBrew voted for each game in order that they were submitted, so mine got one less than absolute very last place. And now I'm in fifth place.

Thank you all who voted, commented, and reviewed my game! It feels nice to get slightly better than the toasty 6th-8th, it's sort of a snuggly 5th place here. Also, hai TV :3.

Yes, I had fifth place last Jam. So you can consider yourselves moved into my old place :P . Don't worry, the heat will be fixed before the snow starts up.

Hah! If anything, I'm glad I got this place more than any other. ThatSnail is gonna make a Let's Play of my game. =3
EDIT: Or, (after reading his post again) at least review it on his blog. :turned:

4th place is the best place one of my games have attained in some sort of prize-based comparisation, ever, so I guess I'm pretty satisfied. I surely wish I would be able to always work as hard as I did those 72 hours.

Impressive. Your Jam#4 game was pretty good, actually. If there were a category for "most improved", you'd have a good shot at it.

Looking through the jam games again. I like how some of the authors are still working on theirs and I suggest everyone check out the first post that has the links to the games.

I'm finishing up Carmageddons final release. And still waiting for my HTML5 key Posted ImagePosted Image

Not sure what you're getting at. Any one of my votes could've turned into a 1st vote with the SSE system.

It's not coincidence. It's scientific proof that anybody who votes for your game to get 5th, will win the Jam himself.
