Congrats on the winners! And all entrants, wow where there some sick looking screenshots.

I didn't vote, since I had only tried a handful of games, so I didn't think it was all that fair.(this isn't a popularity contest, is it?)

I do want to add that that the game by Yal and the game by Yellow really have a lot of potential, and would like to see 'more' of them.

Also, that scrawly game by orange08 was a hoot. Good job on that!

I guess that would have been my top 3 votes. :P

*makes mental note to try the winners games later*

Second? As in, second? :D WOOHOO! xD

Thanks to everyone who voted, not only for Sophia's Spirits, but just in general. You were the whole point of the Jam (after having fun, of course!).

Now...I offered first and second place a banner. As you can see in my sig, second place already has a banner  So if Robert3DG+ and YellowAfterLife contact me about it, I'll be making banners for first and third place instead :) .

Also...when do I get my T-Shirt and Yo-Yo? :P

Wow...fifth place in one Jam, second in the next...now I have to participate in the January Jam, since I clearly am destined for first ;) .

And I've uploaded a fully functional version of Rain with all the features I had planned for it. Stupid time limit.

Rain Topic

Check it out guys and let me know what you all think.

Edit:
Oh... wait... crap... congratulated all the winners in private and completely forgot to do it publicly to make myself look good. Damn.

Congratulations!

I never did vote. I didn't play that many games. However, of the ones I did like, I really enjoy Carmageddon (did I spell that right?) and Anti-Colorist, as well as Rain. Good job, guys! Well done!

Congrats to all the winners! I still haven't finished all of the games, I have only a handful to go (I didn't feel that I should vote until I finished them all). It was fun to participate and a blast to see all of the different ideas created for the contest. I've learned quite a bit from the entire process and can't wait for the next competition. I hope to see you all there!

I really don`t get it. How exactly did the voting system go?

Three steps:

1) Take all the first place votes and tally them.
2) Eliminate whichever games tied for last.
3) Anyone whose first-place vote was eliminated, use their second-place vote. Everyone else remains with their first-place vote. Repeat steps 1-3.

And just continue that process until the top 5 are narrowed down.

Thanks to everyone who voted and supported all the jam authors hard work, and an extra warm "Thank You" for those of you who gave my game your coveted vote positions Posted Image

A special round of applause should be given to Nocturne, ShadowLink, Zeddidragon and the other event organizers for their administration tasks and useful tools during the jam.

A final thank you to Yoyo Games for their neat gifts and everyone else who offered community prizes!

Working hard on making Carmageddon (I should probably pick a better name haha) a special treat for everyone and making it more into something I and all users of GM can be proud of! A new fixed version will be released soon!

Thank you everyone!

This is clearly the best part of the Jam. Everybody's congratulating, the winners are happy, everybody is trying to look like a good sport whilst secretly dying inside.

I'm surprised at the quality of games the Jam is releasing now, we've really come a long way, even my entry was decent this year! Weldone to everybody!

Oh, also congrats to the winners, and everyone who participated!

Alright, here it is, it's a bit rushed:

When he saw that the theme was "laws",
he popped a doughnut into his jaws,
he would need all the energy he could get,
and so energized he was, he could barely sit.

He settled upon an idea,
in which the player controlled a car,
and as he grabbed another piece of pizza,
he hoped his game would be up to par.

A fugitive from the police,
the chaos would never cease,
the game was turning out quite nicely,
also the controls had to be written out concisely.

Finally the game was playable,
thanks to all the food on the table,
"Carmageddon" was the name of the game,
a title that was certainly not lame.

The votes were tallied quite speedily,
and as he was preparing for dinner,
he grinned at his food quite greedily,
within hours, it would be announced that he, was the winner!

Congrats winning peoples! Posted Image

I've yet to play any of the games (due to uni lectures, coursework, scuba diving, skyrim etc etc) but I will eventually get around to it.

When will the next jam be? I'll try and take part in that one! Posted Image
