The thing is that when i activate extension, it shows me error, and when I deactivate it, there is no error. Also, if I delete my object wich gets error, the other object gets the same error.

Room creation or instance creation codes often tend to get a random name like this, so checking that is definitely a good idea. ;)

Which error are you getting when activating? (And which version of GM?)

Ok, just to inform you:
I am back on track with the update schedule. You can expect update 12 to come tomorrow :)

I also stared another project, I call "GMS+." Basicaly, I am completely rewriting both the server and the client. I am finally going to use SQL and DLL's, to boost GMSes performance. Don't expect it to be done in the near future. I plan on finishing it somewhere in june. But I'll just get the regular updates out as well :)

This plugin is giving me immense trouble while using GMK HTML

1. I am unable to delete the old version(Exception raised on control: UninstallBtn/ and EString List error raised, with message: List index out of bonds(1)
2. I am unable to install the new version(Generic Error message).

Well, basically they cut out every possibility to make it work:
-No variable_* functions
-No way to internally execute a function every step

So, sadly, I am not able to support GM:HTML5 at this time. Since GameMaker Server+ has the advanced scripts combined into the DLL, I will try to add "some" form of support. So no automatic variable syncing, no advanced instance sync, ect... But it will work :D

Now obviously I am going to have to ask, How far along is GMS+? is it bearable enough to release, do you need any art done for it(I could help), or is there any way I could speed up the process?

Well, if no one is replying, I have nothing to reply to :P

At this moment, it's mostly me learning C++. I got the client to connect to the server, and send data. Receiving still is a bit of a pain (I crashed my computer once)

I would say it takes a couple more months to complete ;)

It's just upsetting purchasing such an expensive tool and then finding tedious bugs.

Yeah, it's frustrating... Maybe switching from the "Beta" to the "Stable" channel helps avoiding most bugs?

Well, the biggest problem has been to sync all the instances (enemys). But the current code was kinda slow, so I decided to make GMS+, and this whole thing started going. So no new examples for this, but GMS+ will have new everything ;)

 

Edit: I changed my mind. A big part of the MMORPG example will come with Update 13, the remaining bits will come with GMS+

Just to be sure, I took GameMaker Server through virustotal. But I can assure you, it's not a virus. I assume it might be a virus on your computer. (I did a little reseatrch on the trojan, and it seems to have something to do with java bugs)

Not at this moment. There were some pretty severe problems with my router. I had to completely reset it. :(
If I have enough ad revenue, I will hire a "professional" server, which will obviously be faster and will have less downtime. At this moment, there's no way to run your own server, but I can see the benefits of being able to do that. So, since I am fully rewriting GameMaker Server (codename GMS+) I will release a custom server with it too. Without connection to the main server you'll not be able to access some server-specific features, so that requires some proper caching. I am not sure whether I'll be able to release it simultaneously with the GMS+ update, sice it's a lot of work. But it will come :)

You need to get a more secure server. Your probably getting DDOSed

Yeah, I really do...
Site is up again. April & May have been horrible moths so far. About 10 times more downtime. I will try to eliminate most downtime.

It might have to do with where you live. Also, there are going to be some improvements in GMS+:
1. 4D-packet reduced form 32 bytes to 11. (=up to 3 times faster)
2. DLL, to be able to process more data in the same period of time.
3. All messages sent per step will be bundled into one big message, which reduces TCP lag.
4. You'll be able to host your own server, so lag will be less lag.

I am stupid. I change my mind way too often (Yeah, I completely forgot I had to do anything. I've only been working on GMS+). You want the MMORPG example, don't you? I'll see what I can do. :)

Ok, so I changed my mind again (Yeah, I know...)

To celebrate the 300 registered accounts on gamemakerserver.tk, I am going to make an other update. It will contain:
-PING
-One time instance sync
-"@username:" - to send PB's in the chat
-Enable/disable the disappearing chat messages
-An (elatively simple) MMO example (skills, experience, levels) The fighting will be instanced though (everyone will see it's own monsters)
-An easter egg
