I was always told that the windows-executables will be optimized to be compatible with HTML5 ...since HTML5 doesnt support dlls I thought that the win-executables will loose the dll-support too.
In the end you can only really go cross-platform if you use only those features which are supported by all platforms you intend to use.
If dlls are supported then thats great...but using HM4HTML5 for games which use dlls could better be done in GM 8.1
Well, will be interesting to see how Studio will handle this.

There's no point in dropping features that many people use. GMHTML5 is priced at a point where it should include all the abilities of cheaper versions. And it does.
I expect Studio will handle it with OS variables and by hopefully having a price where only people who understand that different OSes have different capabilities can afford it.
