I was wondering if someone could PM me the file that HTML 5 exports/saves so I can play around with it and see how it looks in a custom webpage. I don't need an advanced game it can just be a blank room that says test.

The probelm is there is other content on the site so I can't tell exactly which files are used to embed the game, but maybe someone can answer that question for me without sending a game. Is the only ouput file the javascript one, or are there multiple files you need for it to work?

As far as I can tell from videos (I haven't actually purchased GM:HTML5) it outputs a Javascript file, a folder called 'particles' in wich particle files are stored, all the sound files and one PNG image containing all other images. As I say, this is just from seeing videos so it'd be great if someone could confirm it.

Here is the URL to the exported HTML5 game in play:

Here is the download link to the exported HTML5 & .exe of the game, for you to play around with:

Hope this helps!

Errr... the game is one of the samples from within GM:HTML5 so you should credit it properly.... (credit to Mike Dailly and Geoff Gunning)

It just outputs an index to call the canvas, and a JS file which is a 320ish line (in notepad++) wall of text of obfuscated and compressed code. Much like a jquery library or something.

EDIT: So yeah if you have chrome, or firebug for firefox, you can easily see the code right in the browser.

I should have mentioned, that is the example given in GameMaker: HTML5, don't credit me :)
