I've made an achievement system and it works perfect when having treat unitialized variables as value 0 on but I don't like that being on it messes other things up, i've tried using the game_save and game_load feature in hope that it saves my global variables but it doesn't work. In my object where it loads the game at the room start it has game_load and in the create event it checks if the file exists ( the saved data) and if it does it doesn't make the variable achievement = 0 but then I get the error saying it doesn't exist, is there any way around this? I have tried ini files but that went horribly wrong i'll upload the gmk for you guys to look at if I didn't explain it very well, but thank you.
