With so many new and often young users finding GM it may seem like the forum is getting crowded, with silly antics and sassy attitudes, but some of it is also you. You are growing, and you may be outgrowing the GMC. Things that looked so cool back in the day is going to look less than amazing now. To someone, those same things you may find lame, are epic creations. If you want to try out a more mature game creation forum I would suggest: http://forums.tigsource.com/

Note: When I say you I also include myself, and anyone else, who sometimes feel like the forum has gone downhill. I think every user will experience this as time goes on.

Haha, I guess you got me. I would like to let everyone know though, I do not at all find the GMC terrible at all, heck it is the only forum I frequent currently. I guess sometimes I just feel like I am getting old and can’t keep up. I still miss the GM Pages site, the EZboard, I guess I live in the past too much.

Oh I full heartedly agree with the the foolish human. The GMC is such a terrible, horrible place where artists sprite for free but only do a half job of it and GML users take the time to teach new GMCers about Game Maker, with an entire section devoted to the tutorials they make to help the new kids learn.

What a terrible little corner of the internet this is. Sorry guys but some things just have to be said... the GMC is clearly an unmoderated spam filled battlefield for the world's biggest Justin Beiber flamewar.

As the title suggests, this board has become terrible. Know-it-all's pick on the learners, learners beg for help from the artists and artists just generally half do requests with no sense of style of pizazz. What has this board come to when every new thread is flamed the moment it is created? Even this one will be soon enough
