1. More active moderators would be helpful to rectify the problem
2. Harsher discipline for those that do spam(non-botted usually) and flame
3. Deletion of any flame topics

learners beg for help from the artists and artists just generally half do requests with no sense of style of pizazz.
So, help me to understand this.
When artists are helping out learners, you're complaining that the work they give them isn't good enough.

This is a gradual change for a few years now. And if you're going to make something, make it right
Have you considered that some of the artists, who are helping others, are learners themselves. And the work they are giving others are the best they can offer at their current skill level?
But let's try this approach instead. How bout if you show us some of the art pieces you've done for others. That way we can see exactly how it should be done.

Then you shouldn't be complaining about the work that artists are freely doing for others, because you have no idea about the time and effort they are spending on others.I am no artist, mate. So therefore I don't claim to be
And you don't need to be an artist to consider my previous point that some of the artists are they themselves learning.

I don't remember seeing a well structured and thought out topic flamed before. Topics a mostly flamed when they are silly and not thought out thoroughly... like say this one for example.

I understand they are learning, but maybe they could say that, instead of claiming to be "artists". And I understand how long it takes for a normal artist to produce a piece of work. RpGJuNkI3 is the best artist I have met on here, and he takes weeks to produce proper work that normal GMC'ers think they can produce in an hour. It's poor when they claim to be on the same level as RpG when they do that
OK, so now we're getting somewhere.
Your complaint is that GMC artists who aren't as good as RpGJuNkI3 shouldn't be claiming they are as good as him. Good we can fix that.
@ Mods: please instate a new rule in the Graphics forum. No claiming to be as good as RpGJuNkI3.
OK, Next.
RpGJuNkI3 takes weeks to produce good work, yet mosts GMC'ers only take an hour.
@ Mods: Please instate a new rule in the Graphics forum. No more doing work for others that only take an hour, if you are going to do work for others you must spend weeks on it.
The new GMC is gonna be great with your suggestions.

So now your complaint is that they are taking 2 seconds and not an hour. They don't need to take weeks. I'm just saying that surely they should learn a PROPERLY done sprite doesn't take 2 seconds in paint.
Don't worry, the rule I've requested will also cover the two second jobs.

Your signature makes me laugh! "Click on my Signature and join a real community!" - I clicked it, and you have 10 members, 78 posts, I have more forum accounts then that (across all the forums I go on) then you have all together, and I have well over 15X the post count on the GMC as you have all together on your real crap community..

I've never seen another GMC "artist" claim to be as good as RpGJunkie. But either way, don't worry about it. Kids are kids....maybe they could say that, instead of claiming to be "artists".
It's poor when they claim to be on the same level as RpG(Junkie)
Most free services that people offer are crap anyway, right? So when unskilled artists offer poor quality art... just say "no thanks" and move on. They'll figure it out.

OK understood. The time frame is not important, it is just the fact the time is WAY too short.
@Mods; please change my previous rule requests from:
No more doing work for others that only take an hour, if you are going to do work for others you must spend weeks on it.
to:
No more doing work for others that the time you spend is WAY too short.

This is a forum full of hobbyists, mate. They don't owe you a thing. If you get ANYTHING created for you for free, you have no right to complain as it cost them their time and effort, yet cost you absolutely NOTHING.
As for the "pick on the learners" I don't see that happening at all if the beginner actually follows the rules and use their brains a little. When the noobies pop their heads in, shout "How to I make a MMORPG?!?!?!!!!1111 one" or "I am making a game and need a picture of a solder! Thnx!", then expect people to reply with help, of course they are going to get harsh feedback until they decide NOT to bump every 15 minutes, to actually form a COHERENT request, and finally give their gratitude to those who in the end sacrifice their time to help them.
Being blunt is actually somewhat of a trademark of these forums, so I don't know what you are talking about with the hate mail.
