Who here would like to be the first person to test this out?
I'm not interested in a crippled computer.

Can you make it support DVD files stored in folders that are NOT located in the root folder of a drive. I tried it and no luck!

Yes I am...
Actualy example can PLAY from any address almost Any movie format, or sound format.
In this ability is included and *.VOB format ( aka DVD).

To play dvd movie from any address load movie with button " Open Movie", and it will start...
"Play DVD" button have search filter inside a script. And search Vob files only in root of C,D,E,F,G,H,X and Z drive...
So, if you have 2 or 3 DVD Rom Players, try and put in each some DVD movie.
This script will found all of them and will make a Menu with option what movie you wana play...

I was just try VOB, AVI and MP4 format and works... ( with "Open Movie" button)
So If I am misunderstand something please correct me. :(

Tnx for your interesting for this xVid wraper.

I tried what you were saying, but to play a DVD you need to open the .ifo file which would allow the player to decompile the DVD (if protected, which most of the DVDs are). As I said before I opened the .vob file(s) and because the DVD I was testing with was protected, the file would play as if the DVD is scratched (which is normal for protected DVDs)
