[General Leo]

I know it's scarey to ask for because of the possibly harmful uses but I'm in need of something (maybe a dll) that gives extra file functions and control. I have a folder on my computer that I want to categorize and organize using a program I'm writing in Game Maker. I want it to rename or move files that I've misnamed or misplaced but of coarse Game Maker can't do that by itself and is limited to its own running directory.

I mainly need the following:
-Rename
-Cut/Paste into different directories
-Get total directory count (if possible)
-Delete
-Get a file's/folder's last modified date

p.s. and yes, this is in relation the organization and upkeep of a game, not a utility program as per the GMC rules. ty to whomever can help.
