In this game, a catalyst does not speed up evolution, it lets the pokemon breed, when they normally can't. 2 pokemon might not be breedable, but if you put a catalyst in the pen, they can breed. Catalysts can be anything from flowers to stones. If you want to speed up evolution, you can have pokemon eat others. I won't say which pokemon eat which, but anyone can post it if they want to.

Well look who thinks he's clever dan (Not an insult. Joke from homestarrunner.com)

I too still need help.

I think I have figured out what the catalyst is, and what one of the pokemen is. I don't know what the other one is, though. Does it matter?

lol, yeah, i love homestarrunner.

and thanks to whoever just told me how to get an oddish! I got my first gym badge with that!

oh, and i fisgured out a couple of ways to make lots of money. Breed a whole bunch of charmanders and evolve them all into chrizards. Then buy a master ball and keep it in an empty cage. Drag all your new charizards on the master ball to sell them! Or, you could buy some coffings, let them evolove, then let them split, then let them evolve, and sell all but one of the weezings, and start over again!

A battle system would be great. For stats, all you would need is to have it so that the higher the Pokemon's exp amount is, the better it is. Yet again, if you need an example just pm me. (That last part goes for anyone)

what do you mean, they could be flowers or stones? Like, you put a fossil in there, and they breed or somthing?

Yes. A catalyst could be anything you can by from the shop a pokeball, a flower, a gamecube, a stone of some sort.

Yes, many pokemon eat other pokemon for exp. An example is that many bird pokemon will eat caterpie. If they touch a pokemon they eat, it makes a click sound and the eaton pokemon dissappears.

You also get $1 for each piece of smog koffing makes if it gets sucked up by a vacume.

Mewtwo is a pokemon + 5 catalysts, but I won't say which ones. Slowpoke is a psycic fish. Thats the only hint I'll give.

goldeen + abra = slowpoke. If you go to their website, under pokebreed there is news and some pokemon combos...that was one of them.

The catalysts that work for different pokemon... Were they chosen at random, or are the cognitive?

could the catalysts be waste products? Like a oddish leaf or a shell from a that one pokemon that comes after caterpie?

They are not random. Certain pokemon breeds have certain catalysts. But there are so many catalysts that it can be hard to find the right ones.

No, it is not waste products.
But here is a semi catalyst hint: Electricball
