One of my main grievances with this new them is the lack of texture. In fact, there isn't anything but solid colors except for a gradient (gradients like that look insanely unprofessional) in the top logo bar. Some sort of texture in the headers or even the background would give the theme some flair and let it escape from plainness.

To change it back, scroll to the bottom of the page and find the drop box that says "YoYoGames". Change it to IP Board Mobile and change it back to YoYoGames and you'll have the old theme. The new theme does not appear to be here.

The new theme was created to match the website. This is a good thing

And while I agree that it will take time to get used to a dark skin since people are used to mostly light forums everywhere else on the web, I can also understand (for the above reason) why TTG does not give a light skin option.

Give it time. Everyone will get used to it and life will go on once again.

That does nothing. I managed to get it be signing out, but then there is no means of signing back in, so changed the theme to the normal one to sign in, and it stays like it.

This new one is far too dark which makes it difficult to read for people like myself who have less than perfect eye-sight.

You can change it back.

Also note that they are going to work on a lighter theme. It's not very high priority though and it will take them a few weeks.

At first I liked the change.

But after I started reading this post, it started to become difficult to read. I started to squint my eyes, then I had to look away for a short time to let my eyes rest.

For me, what others are saying about the white text on darker backgrounds seems to be true.

Maybe black text on a light grey background would be better, just for reading the posts, you can keep the rest the same.

That would not be wise. I'm already back on the old theme due to health issues.

The theme is cool but unusable for some (me). And according to some guy's linking to a study in one of them topics, unusable for 50% of our members.

Buttons on the new skin didn't work for me either,

You want to know what I think....this is complete crap. I understand you want it to conform to what YYG website looks like, which is also crap, but c'mon. This looks like one of those small-time guild portals for WOW or GW, instead of a competent company like microsoft or apple (look at their sites, it's WHITE). Other places that get huge traffic that use white color schemes, just to list a few:

youtube
google
twitter
reddit
facebook
myspace
yahoo
wikipedia
most any other website worth looking at

You know what sites use black schemes?

mmorpg.com
manos.guildportal.com (some randomly searched for unimportant guild)

I can now say that YYG (and now GMC it seems) feels the need to align itself with lesser viewed sites. First it was the logo, and now site schemes, does YYG know that they are not trend-setters, I wish they would just stop trying so hard.

LaTeX is broken - should be white symbols instead of black. Didn't you fix this previously? It was working on the testgmc.

I wonder if this is going to keep working with people who prefer a light (old) skin :/

It's actually fine in the old theme. Black with a very bad white edge, in the new theme

my bar on top isn't working so navigating is difficult. I cant say this is better that the original.
