InterValhal is a small tool to manage time for, for example, work sessions or training sessions.

Main interface

I created it mainly because I read an article somewhere about time plans for when working, where they pointed out that if you work intensively for an hour, then relaxing for an hour, then working, relaxing, working, relaxing.. until done, you will archive more, and work more productively, than the ordinary work a little, be distracted by the internet..: Facebook.. Stumple.. Stumple.. and so on... And then back to work. I figured it would not hurt to try this when doing my home works and assignments in school - and I went searching for software to manage the time (or I would just forget to switch). I could not find anything I liked - so I challenged myself to make it before my summer vacation ended - and now it is done (or yesterday actually, and I started school today).

Adding an interval

I know it might not be an application a lot of people will be in need of, but I uploaded anyway just in case anyone needs something alike, or just wants to try for fun. It was great practice, and I learned a lot about some of the Game Maker functions I do not use normally.

I am not sure I will work any more on the program, but feel free to say what I can improve anyways, so I do not make the same mistakes another time.

PS.
If you in the program folder creates a folder called "Resources" and in that folder adds a wave sound file called "sound.wav" you can change the standard interval change sound.

Update: Minor tweaks, and a brand new (small) function!
I was using my program for a larger assignment, but in my break time I was playing SW:ToR. I could here the change sound through the game, so no problem there, but by the time I was done with closing the game, the timer was already a few minutes into my work interval!
So.. I added a function to ask it to pause between the individual intervals, so you can resume the timer when you are ready for the next interval.

Post the screenshots using image tags, because we can't see them.
Somehow Dropbox blocks them.

Just upload to Imageshack.us (and use [img] tags!)

Thanks for the notice. I'll try to remember my old imageshack username, and upload the images right away. (and put them in tags for that matter)
