Here's my (almost late) entry for Jam #3: Everybody Lives

Details:
2.2 MB zip file containing a GM 8.1** executable

It's patterned after a cross between Peggle and Ragdoll games. Just wait until the right "strategic moment" to click the release button, and drop the ragdoll. To score:

-- Living dolls must fall into the Live bucket

-- zombie dolls must fall into the "grinder". It's the coolest part of the game, and fairly hard to do. But it's fun to watch the limbs / head come off with a squirt of blood. :)

Made in a single 12-hour stretch. whew...

What exactly are you supposed to do?
How do you control where the zombie goes? Or do you just wait till it's in a good spot then drop it.

The latter. You must choose the right moment to drop the doll. To score:

-- Living dolls must fall into the Live bucket.

(Thanks for alerting me the controls weren't clear. I edited my first post.)

Took me some time to figure it out too :)

Anyway... is there any chance you can tell me how on earth did you make that rope? I need it for some cables in my game.

Still playing this game...reminds me of Peggle :D Nice one ! ^_^

It's just a simple quadratic spline. Not really "rope physics". I get the "waving effect" by moving the control points around slightly in a sinusoidal pattern.

Thank you. I plan to get back to this at some point and make a full-fledged Peggle/Plinko type game -- but with ragdoll zombies.

Every game is better with ragdoll zombies.
