Greetings everyone, I have been working on this lighting engine for a while. It is actually a sub engine of something more greater.
This is just a test demo. I haven't worked much on its quality yet, just the optimization & its working :)

Anyway you folks have a look....
As well, please post the FPS result along with you system specs.

Looks pretty impressive, runs 65-64, sometimes going down to 55 and then back up on my laptop.

Specs:
AMD Turion X2 64
NVIDIA GeForce 7150M/nForce 630M
Windows Vista

Is this one little room it? I hoped for more...

Very well, 60 fps is fine enough.

Is this one little room it?

nope this is just 5% of the proposed room size, but everything will drawn only within views.

Looks nice.
Runs mostly around 60 fps, though it did go up to 70 or above.

Tested this on my laptop:

Core 2 Duo 2.16 GHz with 4 MB L2 cache
4 GB DDR2 667 MHz
nVidia Quadro FX 3500M 512 MB
Vista Business 32-bit.

Ran smooth and solid 60 fps. Looks very nice, but perhaps it's a bit blocky. I assume you're doing this through surfaces. Before applying the shadow surface you could try blurring it a bit. I'd like to see the source if you don't mind.

Blurring the shadows seems to good idea, but it may lose its overall sharpness.

Looks very nice, but perhaps it's a bit blocky.

I'll agree to this one. I'll be fixing that in the anti-aliased version and with more smother transitions, but may also turn out to be an fps eater.

That user has a habit of lying about his hardware. (Running 4 million polygons at 83 FPS in GM's d3d, for example)
Don't mind him.

Here you go.... download.

With synchronization off, there is a major boost in fps

Around 236 fps at my work machine:

Core i3 540 3.06 Ghz
8 GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 4300(4083 MB)
