I've been working on this game for a long time and am really starting to progress to the point where I will want a REAL programmer, which is certainly not myself. Anyway, here's a few screenshots of the game.

The game is built for 640x480.

Starting area for now. There is the old ruins clearly infested with spiders. The large screen is just maximized

Duking it out with the spiders. Their victims are littered about (with treasure, of course), a long with some old xbow bolts.

After grabbing the key to a door, the knight enters the giant queen spider's lair. Defeat her for her egg sac (part of a quest).

There are different methods of attack (standard, spin attack, and overhead chop). I plan on some platform jumping, a kick skill to stun enemies, blocking, etc. The crossbow takes a long time to load and fire, but is very powerful, that is, the sword takes 4 hits for the normal spider, xbow defeats them in one.

Anyway, if there are any serious programmers who want to assist me in making this game worthy of notice by game companies, shoot me a message. Also, if you want to play what I have so far of the game, send me a message.

1. this is the GM Creations forum. To post here it should be done or nearly done. If you're adding all those features, it isn't done really. and the request for programmers should go in the Team request forum. You've bundled a bunch of different things into one topic, not sure how well it'll go over with the mods.

as for the game itself, please improve the graphics. I don't mean they have to be ridiculously fancy, but I can't differentiate path/ground from walls at a glance, and the trees (are they trees?) and grass(?) in the first shot don't look like...anything really. Graphics don't have to be state of the art, but they do have to represent a definite something which these don't really accomplish.
