Congratulations everyone who took part and everything! It is time for a month or so to relax from jam mayhem! Looking forward to the discussion topic for next jam though, I think there will be some changes (for the better) to come the jams way! Just gotta remember everything that was thought of during this one that can be improved for the next one...!

TheSnidr (I pronounce it Snidder)

Snidr rhymes with sitter, litter, bitter, quitter, twitter :P, bit her, critter, knitter, glitter.

And with that, I'll write a poem.

He plopped up on his chair and set his feet on the floor,
He tried to think of a game that wouldn't be a bore.
An idea quickly came to him,
although his thoughts at first were dim.

Then he worked fast, with the agility of a baboon,
The main character, he thought, should be a balloon.
The levels would be drawn, he decided,
at the very moment that a player's computer provided.

His time was running out,
but he didn't begin to pout.
He worked harder, stronger, faster!
With the precision of a master!

When the time was nearly over,
He wondered what to do,
He needed to know if it was ready,
His game that he called "Doodledoo".

Finally, At last,
the 72 hours had passed.
The voting had begun,
And his game was done!

The voting time was prolonged,
But TheSnidr wasn't a louse,
He voted along with the others,
He hoped he wouldn't lose to mickey mouse!

The voting ended!
Almost as quickly as it had begun!
As he clicked upon the voting topic, he saw what destiny had intended.
That he, TheSnidr, had won!

Edit: Fixed a typo.
Glad you guys like the poem!

Oh, cool. I didn't play the Doodle game, but it looked cool. Maybe I'll play it now.

This was fun. Let's do it again sometime, chaps.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I guess next Jam I should have Mark list it as one of the prizes. :P

About time you posted something. :D We've been saving up our +1's for you. ^ Here's mine ^ Congrats on your win. It was a great game. Seriously, it was really innovative and well made.

Well, time to remove my Jam #3 signature... sniff sniff... (hey, it's only allergies). But I hate to see this Jam end. Looking forward to the "Pumpkin Jam" coming up in October.

By the way, does DoodleDoo count as a themed game?

If not, which one is the highest ranked theme?

Probably The Statues Live!, right?

Right.

Wrong, I think... TheSnidr used the theme "LIVE" as in, happening at this very moment. The levels were being created LIVE! That's how I understood it to fit with the theme.

Yes, Doodledoo was absolutely themed. One of the most innovative uses of theme IMO. The action was "live" ... as in real time. The living hand drew the world as you played. Great use of the Live theme.

Whew, thanks for pointing that out. I also wrote "need" instead of needed. All fixed!

I'm happy with that result.

Congrats Snidre, you deserve it. :}

I'm glad that at least the first two winning games used an interested variation of the theme, instead of the boring "Stay alive!".
