I have an archive on my website. You can find it [url="%5B/url].

Well that sounds lovely and all, but every link on there throws a 404.

Previously if you used views, the whole window was always cleared to the windows colour before the views were drawn, this was required if there were gaps between the views but unnecessary if the views filled the window - now you have a choice - the clear is unnecessary and will waste time, the time saved on a PC may well be unmeasurable unless you have a large scene, but on other platforms it can definitely be seen.

Cheers Russell. Good to know

@cotycyrg - if you go to the release notes the Headers of each section labeled (Version 8.1.XX) are now links to the installers for that version so you can download them directly now (just click on the link).

P.S. You can find the Release notes in the Menu Item Help -> Release Notes...

Hey, look what I found in the Bug tracker ::lmao::

Fixed in 8.1.132 - On Standard Check All Scripts will now also check all the Objects, Room Creation Code, Instances Creation Code, Timelines and Triggers too... (good call GameGeisha).

I think this is great news. I always felt it should be like this but remember someone once said it was too much work to implement. But finally they got around to it :D

Really? It works fine for me. I guess you'll just have to download them from the release notes page.

Just wanted to say thanks again to all the team for each new version. The memory leak you found was giving me trouble in a certain room while zooming in and out. I didn´t care because it was too complex (many objects and tiles, big backgrounds...) so I thought it was something with my hardware. Now all errors have gone :D

You are doing a good job too building nice little features that make GameMaker better!!

Well, I thought I would say this on here too, seeing how I put it on the bug tracker, http://bugs.yoyogame...iew.php?id=1751, and no one has been able to help me. I would like to ask if anyone else has the same problem as me.

Not a huge deal but on my primary project, loading the game before running it now takes about twice as long, specifically on the "preparing graphics" part. I don't use 3d or any fancy effects, no idea why this happens. Again, not a dealbreaker but annoying. Anyone else have games that take longer to load with the new patch? The game runs the same as always once loaded, as far as I can tell.

I have also noticed that loading is taking longer. I also fear there is a large memory leak in room editing. If you edit a large room for any amount of time, the GM editor starts sucking every part of RAm out of your system, then eats through virtual ram as well. Needs to be looked at.

Other than that I m very happy with the program. Hope my above comment helps

I haven't noticed this I'm afraid... anyone else?

The release notes for .132 say that this has been fixed... what version are you using? If it is the current one then file a bug report.

No, for me the loading is faster if anything. I noticed though, when I had no sprites it hung for a bit but no, no complaints at my end.

I haven't yet experienced such weird things, but something has changed for sure. But all I'm experiencing is that the code completion window simply doesn't show up from time to time, even while typing. It's difficult though to see exactly when it does show up and when it doesn't.

Is there anyone else who has this problem? I install extensions, and they don't get installed to the directory specified by the installer:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\GameMaker\extensions

Fact is that I don't have a clue where the extensions is being installed too. I haven't got a problem with this behavior, but it is annoying.

They are placed in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\GameMaker8.1\extensions

I think it is weird they are placed there.

Well there are some extensions that is put there, but when I install new extensions then they don't show up. The files at least. I got a problem with my extensions and I need to clean the list from scratch. "I get index out of bounds" when I try to remove one extension I currently work with between test runs.

fortunately I only use 8.1.132 for designing the game .
I must say that I'm rather surprised that yoyo didn't notice this before they released this build

Well it's not highly noticeable if you run a game, so it could be understandable, but it's not really profesionnal :ninja:

How to get back to the previous version in wait of a new one ?

and sorry for my bad english.
