Down to business.
How would one (myself) go about porting his games to flash.
I don't have the kind of money for flash CSx.
Is there free flash compilers? I have heard of these things called flixel and flashpunk, what are they?
What about this stencyl thing, is it worth downloading?

FlashPunk and Flixel are AS3 libraries to make your coding simpler when making Flash games.. in my opinnion its a hell faster and easyer to make a game in FlashPunk or Flixel than with with Adobe's Flash IDE..

All necessary info on how to install them is on the links above; basically you will need FlasDevelop wich is a Free flash compiler

I don't blame you. The GMC is full of meanies.

There are other forums you would like better. One is the Flashpunk Forum. They're really nice there, and they help newbies. The other is the Stencyl Community. A great forum. Better than the GMC.

I'd switch if I were you, and ditch the GMC.

For someone who considers himself a "C++ Nerd", you should have proficient enough skills to do your own evaluations of these different tools and by no means consider yourself a noob.

Slam Drago, this is a GM forum and not a flash forum, so you shouldn't be surprised that people suggest you google for the information you are looking for... After all, I don't go onto a physics forum and ask if Jesus is better than Mohamed! Oh, and nobody insulted any noobs, they just pointed out the irrelevance of your request on this forum and the ease with which you yourself could have found out what you needed.
