Just use Aegis. Why use a made-up name when there's a good Latin name? Aegis sounds cool.I think I got one, how does Eejis sound? (Taken from the word Aegis which means Protection)

Because Latin sucks. Nobody talk Latin anymore, likely for a reason. Why use a made-up name when there's a good Latin name?

Oh yea? And what happened to that guy anyway? Oh right, I remember, he got stabbed to death by his friends. OOooo. I agree with Yal, Latin does suck, it is such an under developed language, which is why languages that steamed off of it had to be re ruled into much more sophisticated guidelines.
Besides, why would a fraction be Latin anyway?

Is there a way I could do a poll?

Yes, but I wouldn't recommend PMing the mods over something like this.Is there a way I could do a poll?

Zeddi is, as always, correct.Yes, but I wouldn't recommend PMing the mods over something like this.

You could of course do an unofficial poll, that is, EDIT your first post, tell people to vote between "Aejis" and "Arctic Spyder" by simply posting and saying which one they like the most, set up a deadline, and at that deadline, read the topic and take notes on what name has the most votes.
You could of course just combine the names into Eejis Spyder and thusly keep them both.

Tell us more about the structure of this justice organization and some better names might pop up from that.

But I like neither. :/ Eejis looks rather weird when written, and Spyder is apparently a common (and rather silly) attempt at "coolifying" a word. Better go with something more unique, I think. Something that captures the feel of the organization a bit better. The Latin word Aegis is associated with protection, but it's more of the religious (possibly Jedi) kind than just straight up laser-blade protection.

Naw man get it right! Not Spyder, "ARCTIC SPYDER"!!! it's not about being original, it's about referencing to the ridiculously over-powered blue laser pointer, which looks like a modern light saber, which is the theme behind the fraction members! Did you even see the youtube video? It's freaking ridiculous.

Yes, I caught that, thank you. I still think the name doesn't fit very well. Besides, compared to a lightsaber and most video game lasers that handheld laser there is nothing. It's still cool, of course, but put into a game context it makes no more sense than any other word you could come up with.Naw man get it right! Most people who recognize the name would likely connect it to cars, by the way.
