Stating the obvious yep, learned trough my first and only and last mentor and heavly by myself on massively over sized projects xD.

Great topic, might find something i ain't using yet.

Good suggestion would be for people starting and or have been using GM for some time is buying both GM books and reading them ( myself only 1/3 of the companion... zool is just too long <.<, should be done with a friend which is very rare thing to happen )

I know i should be using constants a lot, but i can't figure out when i need one, task planning skills i need this tells me.

add ///update #1 to the beginning of each OBJECT code. This will change the label of the code and this way you can check what the turn was for your go. Or give it a silly name, whatever you want :D
