Description:
The Tsukihime universe is one of my favorite places to be in the anime world. In my opinion, it's Type-Moon's greatest achievement. This game is a TBRPG which will be a host to many of the characters from that world. Right now, I only have Shiki Tohno but the system is ready to add more and more characters.
If you've never heard of Tsukihime I suggest you read the manga on mangafox or something. It's really good.

Download: It's sad but it seems InstantPlay is not compatible with GM8.1, however; GMArcade is.

  • Now using the GMFMOD sound system.

Very creative combat.

Unfortunately I think its a bit too hard, I died in a the first fight of the game, in the first room, on the first turn. I hit the guy and almost killed him, but then he attacked for like hours and both his dogs finished me off.

Battle opponents are randomly generated. Sometimes you get the clone and other times... you get a bunch of easy wilddogs.

In the game info for the attacking, all three attacks say "Light attack" but all have different costs. Shouldnt they be light medium and strong?

I like the camera in the battle scenes, but I find it making awkward jumps at times and sometimes switches views too fast.
Sadly the game was left hanging after the first battle, and I noticed your game was taking 300 MB of my memory at the start, what are you loading?
Otherwise, it's a really nice start from what I've seen.

Can you please give me more info?
  • What do you mean hanging? (Were there no more enemies or did the game glitch.)
  • When did the camera make awkward jumps?

I'm loading the GMFMOD script, a whole bunch of fighting game sized sprites, at least 20 character sounds, general sfx, and of course Shoji Meguro's 4 songs.

After the battle results screen. Right after it played the fanfare sound that came with GM, it stopped responding.
It's hard to pinpoint the camera jumps, but I just noticed every once in a while that the camera would sometimes skip a bit towards somewhere else.

Ah. And something else: Was it intended that you can chain special attacks as long as you want if you have enough MP? You can go back to the main attack menu with V after doing a skill, and then do the skill, and repeat until you're out of MP.

Well I've gotten 3 enemies done but they show up in different areas and times. You'll have to wait till I get more done before you see them.

Well I've gots to add arcueid, and ciel first. Then Akiha, then Aoko. It's going to be a long wait, but I've already got her images.

Really enjoyed it. I lost when I faced the giant dog. Wish I had the option to save ahead of time. My husband is Japanese and knew it was Tsukihime right away. Also, I love the camera movements during battles. Makes me feel apart of the action.

Wow... this is... this is.. this is REALLY GOOD.

I love the combat graphics/system, and even though I haven't read the manga (It's stares at me from the high shelf in BMV... O.O), the storyline seemed decent. The thing that irked me was there wasn't an explanation of the controls (except at the begining, and I didn't quite understand it), so I was reduced to button mashing.

4/5 for a wip.
