Super Mario Fusion: Revival is a sister fangame project to Mushroom Kingdom Fusion based on Hello Engine IV. It is made by the Fusion Team. This game will have a stronger focus on the Mario-style of gameplay.

SMF will have some crossover levels based on other game franchises. However, unlike MKF, crossover content will be kept to a minimum. The focus is Mario and company traveling to different worlds, not crossover content.

Major features:
*Non-linear level designs with higher-than-typical difficulty.
*Yoshi abilities, including his New Super Mario Bros. Wii ability to eat projectiles and spit them back to enemies.
*Vastly different worlds, ranging from the typical Mushroom Kingdom Mario levels in World 1, to levels based on real-world locations in World 2 and a desolate dimensional limbo in World 3.
*Cameo appearances by characters from other game franchises as NPCs, woven into the general story.

SMFR v0.2 Beta FAQ:
Q. How do I customize my controls?
A. Press the F10 key at the title screen.

Q. How do I select between 8-bit and 16-bit Mario sound effects?
A. Press the F8 key at the title screen.

Q. What characters are playable?
A. Only Mario is playable at this moment. We will add new playables such as Luigi and Peach in upcoming versions.

Q. Why can't I save my game?
A. Game saving disabled until a new save system can be implemented.

Q. Where is the tutorial level?
A. It is located next to World 1's START map tile, which is the tile Mario is on the map when the game starts.

Q. In the tutorial level, I lose my powerups and Yoshi when I clear it. Why?
A. The tutorial level is designed that way. You cannot carry over coins, powerups, reserve powerups, or Yoshi out of the tutorial level.

Q. Why can I move anywhere on the map?
A. For the beta, all map paths are open.

Known Issues:
*using a yellow springboard on a slope or while small sometimes causes bricks to not be triggered.
*Some collision issues still exist. Sometimes, Mario can get stuck in walls. To fix this, move away from the offending wall.
*N-spade game does not award items you match on the cards. Sometimes the N-Spade game spawns on the top left corner of the world map.

This is the 0.2.1 patch. It contains the executable only, so you still need to download the game on the original post.

This patch fixes a bug that caused the invincibility theme to keep playing after invincibility stopped.

Niiiccceeee.

This is really well done... Love the music and the level design. It's quite fun. I haven't finished all the levels yet, but I will eventually.
Keep it up!
