Competition Topic




Welcome to the competitions topic! If you have a competition to announce, post it here.

Remember: On the Community forum you are not allowed to post any topics concerning a competition.

Your announcement MUST follow the rules below. If it doesn't contain all necessary information or the rules aren't followed, it may be removed.


Competition Rules

  • Contests announced here may use any game-creation software, but they must permit Game Maker creations to be submitted.
  • Your contest must be hosted on another web page or a forum (not this one). You must provide the link in your post.
  • Your contest must have a definite deadline.
  • Your post must contain a summary of the competition goals and rules.
  • You may only have ONE competition post here.
  • Do not place any other topics concerning your competition on the GMC.
  • The responsibility for the competition is yours - we will not negotiate for you.
  • We maintain the right to remove the post from this list if we suspect improper competition handling.


Other Information Guidelines

  • It is recommended you put a list of prizes in your post.
  • Prizes MAY NOT include registration keys.
  • If you need to change the date or the details of your competition, you can edit your competition post. You may also update your post to create / maintain a list of participants.
  • Competition posts will be deleted a few weeks after the indicated deadline.

Hello Community,

 

 

Please check out and help us spread the world about an exciting new grant program recently launched by the Entertainment Software Association and Outdoor Nation. Game ON! Challenge Grants of $5,000 will be awarded to the top four individuals or teams that either create a new app or a mobile game or promote an existing game to inspire youth to get outdoors. Proposals must be submitted by individuals ages 18 to 28 or teams with a project leader who is in that age range.
