Hey GameMaker devs, it's Paul Hack (@indiegamehunt) from Game Jolt and we're running another game jam!

You will have 72 hours to make a game with a scoreboard using the Game Jolt API.

PewDiePie, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye will be playing the top 5 games as voted by the community.

Gamers will compete for high scores in the winning games, with the best scores displayed on the jam homepage.

The jam runs from July 17-20 (12:00AM Eastern Time). The theme will be announced when it starts.

Details are on the Indies vs Gamers jam homepage: http://jams.gamejolt.io/indiesvsgamers

You may want to test out API integration now so you don't have to fumble around during the jam: https://help.gamejolt.com/dev-game-api

By looping in gamers as well as devs, we hope to get indie gaming more well known by the gaming community at large. I hope to see a lot of you there =]

Hello everyone! smile.png

I am very excited to tell you guys that we at Playfield are doing a contest which would benefit gamedevs greatly!

We are doing a contest to find three winners to come and showcase their game to 350,000 visitors in Playfield's booth at gamescom for free! This would be a great opportunity for developers to increase their fanbase or just get feedback from thousands of people! How often do you get a chance to show your game to that many people for free?

Three winners of this contest will win these following prizes:

  • Space in Playfield's booth to showcase their game
  • Accommodation in or near Colgne area.
  • 2x gamescom tickets per winner!

If you are interested to find out more about this competition you can read more here: www.playfield.io/gamescom

Good luck with the contest and hope to see & hang out with you at our booth!

Best regards,
