Title: Combuster
Player Character: Kandle
Villain: unknown...
Goal of game: Save the Grand Desert from annihilation. The unknown villain is planning to destroy all life, and replace it with robots.

Test Level 1 is up for download now!! (link at end of this post)

This is a sidescrolling platform game being made in the likeness of SEGA Genesis classics such as Sonic The Hedgehog and Rocket Knight Adventures.

I am planning on taking however long it takes to make this a professional quality game, I WILL be selling the final product. This is my goal.

NOTE: I need the graphics to maintain the 16 bit quality of retro games such as Sonic The Hedgehog.

Sprites I REALLY need to continue progress:
-jumping, falling, and dying animations for player character
-Underground Factory Tileset and background
-Desert Tileset and background
-gas can [32x32]
-whiskey bottle (replenishes health lol)
-walking robot with shooting animation, and exploding into scrap metal animation. [approx. 64x80]
-dune buggy/jeep with driving animation

Further Requests: (tilesets are 32x32 for each tile)
-Dark Factory Tileset/Background
-Cave or Underground Tileset/Background
-Forest Tileset/Background
-Any Robotic enemies with animations
-Big scorpion enemy with walking and stinging animations
-Robot boss enemy(msg me on here or on Facebook [Brandon Pilgrim], or post on this thread asking for details)

Test Level 1 Features:

-running, jumping, and shooting
-basic short level layout
-2 fully functional enemies
-hazards, locked doors with switches
-looting system
-health system and fuel(ammo) system and according items to replenish such
-hovercraft in-level mini game
-sfx and soundtracks implemented
-intro credits/title screen

Features intended to be seen in the 2nd test level:
-fully drivable jeep
-more enemies
-underground factory environment
-attack system=depending on where u shoot the enemies affects how they die(headshot blows off a robots head instead of just exploding for example)
-Robotic boss encounter!

NOTE: I will upload some screenshots of the test level soon.

I really like it a lot. If you could make him less hunched over that would be awesome. and leave out the fire, I'll add that later. I really like where this is going. =)

I liiiike it! Do you animate? because i could go for some animations of this dude. =) I will use this character if i can get a set of animations as listed above, whoever can do it

No hair because honestly, at that size all it's gonna do is clash, and you want people to be able to see.

Also, I was thinking of calling this guy Combuster, which is combustion+Buster. Something snappy like that.

No, I'm not going to register on photobucket. Do you realize everyone here is making you sprites for free? I've made you a sprite that greatly exceeds the average quality on this forum, and I've posted it for you 3 times. It is you, not me, who should be making the effort to view it. It sounds almost like you're not really serious about making this game.
