Nice game. There were a couple of things I didn't like, however.
-No toggle fullscreen option
-Movement has friction, which I don't like that much in scrolling shooters
-I'm not sure, but are there checkpoints to save your progress?
-Kind of hard; I bumble around because of the friction and accidentally crash into missiles and such.
-It would be helpful if we knew what the power-ups actually did...
However, there were also things I liked about it.
-Graphics were awesome
-Dying animations were great
-Cover; you don't usually find that in scrolling shooters and it was nice
-Turrets were smart
All in all, some things were good and some were bad. 7/10.
Hey, thank you for the feedback!
-As for the fullscreen toggle option, we are fans of immersion so we didn't even realize someone would want to play in windowed mode. However, we'll incorporate this in future games.

-There is no saving in Alpha Breed, the start of a new level (room) acts as a checkpoint. In the sequel that we're currently making, there will be both checkpoints and saving your game.

- Good point on the power-up infos. That is just bad design on our part, sorry. We'll have to think of something for it.
- As for friction, yes it makes the game so much more difficult. When we started making this game, we were kinda novice on shooters so we didn't think it'd be a big deal. Our official stand is against friction nowadays

However, if we were to remove friction, it would make the game too easy and we'd have to balance and test it all over again, so we will leave it for now and concentrate on future games.
Good points! Comments like yours make game-making so much more worth-while.
