Explosion shock?

is there any simple way to send an object flying from an explosion?

To a certain extent, you could make a simple work around, but still, its not something I would recommend a beginner to bother trying with.

So anyway, you should be able to just set the object's speed to a direction away from that explosion, or maybe create another object with the same sprite as whatever's getting blown away, and make that fly off from that point. If it's more like shrapnel going everywhere, then make several objects. Really depends on what you want to do, like if you still want the object afterward or if you want it falling off screen.
