Very nice engine!
Works very well, no hitches.
Comments are in two languages, so that's sure to be helpful for some people.
Keep up the good work!

Very impressive! I love how well it works, though there are some things I'd like to change. Gotta have the ability to jump higher by holding the jump button and a few other things, but overall it's very well done.
There's a lot to dig into here, but I'm definitely saving this for future reference. I've been wanting to learn how to do slopes and drop-through platforms, so this should help.

What I'm wondering is, how did you get the player sprite to face right or left without creating separate right and left versions? It's been a bit of an annoyance for me, having to double up on player and enemy sprites just to have one left-facing one and a right-facing one. It's probably something simple in the code I missed, but I can't find where/how it changes sprite direction...

Never mind; I just realized that the status variable changes the direction of the sprites. xD

Thanks for your comments. I'm Actually making a game using this engine and I've made some improvements (Attack system, boxes, enemies, spikes, moving platforms, corrected some bugs etc.).
The game name is Platform Island Adventures (I have a page on facebook).
When I've finished the demo I will work on a new version of the engine.

Kudos, It's outstanding. Perhaps lacking in guidance on how to use it; Code hunting is not for everyone. Though it is well commented.

Check to make sure the "origin" is in the same place it is for the rest of the sprites. When you open a sprite you will see "origin" and you can click the sprite to select the origin or just edit the numbers

Sorry to ressurect this thread, but the engine is very nice. I am having the same issue though. I checked all the settings and scripts and I can't seem to find where the resolution gets changed. Anyone else having this problem?
