He's been using English,

Where?

My apologies on this one. I swear I read English from him somewhere.

Fawful:

There's more English non-native speakers because it's the business language, it doesn't imply knowledge or mastery of such language. Example: I speak n00b French, yet I can say I speak it. Thus, data that is more accurate is native-speaker data.

Wikipedia has its flaws, but for statistics it's usually correct. They're cited. ;)

Davve: As for the you learning English, I don't really know what you mean (again). Are you a native speaker? Either way, you having learnt English naturally or through studies, you can't deny learning languages is hard.

But yes, my apologies for me saying he was speaking English, I was wrong there. Next time I'll post when I'm not so full of coffee. :chikin

Usa ingles carajo.

@ Everybody: Used the chance to showcase brag about my awesome Spanish speaking skills and to remind the OP that this is indeed an English forum. :P

Since noone has made a comment about the game and everyone is more interested in moaning about the language barrier, ill try to keep this on topic.
I love Makifly ive checked out the other games from abramelin games and they had me in stitches with the sick twisted style humour.
The graphics are 'google pics' but i wont say anything against that since i used to do the same before i got good with pixel art.
Aside from that people seem to have ignored challenging level design , slopes, moving platforms, pushable blocks awesome insane boss battles,
water effects and lots to do and explore whilst flicking blunt wraps at foes lol !
Self made music that gets inside your brain a nice and rare thing to see. Although using wavs made the game large, on todays modern broadband
200+ mb is squat ! so stop complaining people, id rather download a large ace game with an original twist instead of yet another mario, sonic,
megaman clone, althogh using supersound.ddl would be 'sound' advice, the first thing i look for in a gamemaker platformer is ... "has the creator made own characters ect?"
Over all i think the main character is awesome and i would love to play the updated verion only the yoyo link is missing rar6 and the other download has been removed !
please fix the download so i can try 1.2 !!!

What the fack? This is absolutely awful. The graphics, the sound, and the gameplay are so amateurish that it makes it seem like this game is intentionally bad. The music is annoying and repetivie, the graphics are inconsistent and clearly drawn in MS Paint, and the gameplay is just atrocious. I couldn't stand to play for more than a minute, but I did find a bug - when you're on a ladder and try to go down when something is blocking you, the game makes a loud machine gun-like noise. Ugh! There's an absolute lack of polish in this game, it's as if someone made it in two days.

I think the worst part is that there's nothing in this game to justify the enormous file size. Infact I'm quite perplexed at how your game is 200+ megabytes when the music is midi-quality and the sprites are jpg-quality. I'm genuinely curious as to how you got the file size to be so large.

As for the marijuana theme, it's really controversial and unnecessary. I have no problem with the theme, but I'm sure others do, and since marijuana doesn't seem to be a part of the gameplay it seems like something intentionally put into the game to rustle jimmies. Also, please translate the instructions into English and make them stay on the screen for longer.

There are a few methods, 1: get supersound.dll from the game maker extensions section, but you will need to import a few simple scripts. 2. get the GEX extension with the scripts included so you will only need to execute commands for start music stop music ect or at a pinch you could use mp3 and set your sound to 'use media player' but you wont have many options for volume ect. to convert your sound to mp3 or ogg you can google many freeware converters which are very easy to use, this will chop about 70-80% of your file size. As for the google pic graphics i think its part of the fun recognising what the texture used is ment to represent, such as using a picture of mountains for a mountain background or whatever i used to use this crude method for graphics before i really got deep into adanced pixel art you've proven that by drawing and animating your main character so you are capable of doing it, just apply what you did with making your main character to the backgrounds and items a good example would be a game on here called 'Four Islands' the simpler in style the better for now while you learn over time as i did and improve your pixel art skills at your own pace, I'll say again the level design in some parts is even better than what i come up with somtimes lol although you have gone for the more frantic action style shooting rather than exploration. I find all of your games have interesting and politicaly incorrect subject matter which is great and adds humour into your games. I love what you do and i hope you make more , the more games you make the better you will get at making them i find.
Peace :D

Edit:
Make his left - right speed faster.
Make his jump slightly higher and give him more gravity.
Create and use a mask for your player sprites and your games wouldnt suffer the 'stuck in the wall' problem.
Destroy the instance of the bullets outside the screen, its silly that i can shoot enemies i never knew exsisted.
You should not be hurt from the side of the 'smashing stones' only underneath.
Use these controls : left right arrow keys UP for jump. [x] fire weapon [z] fire bluntwraps
Put a readme.txt with your game explaining controls, changlog ect.

Artistic Edit:
How i would see him

john lennon was my first game, im sorry if not sufficient professional for you

passing it to mp3 does not help me (and I tried it) and leaving an ugly silence to make the song reloop. i will investigate how to do it in midi

I will consider those control changes you comment
peace

Almost completed it !!!!!!! the hardest most bizzare experience ive ever had on a game maker game but i loved the humour throughout it dispite its flaws,

please think about all the fixes you could do to this and make a makifly 2 !!! (i would suggest looking at sega's Ristar for inspiration).

Edit ::

i would love to remake this.
