I bet I can make a better game in one day than you n00bs can make in your entire life. Here is the rules, as soon as you read this, leave a message, that'll state when you start, you then have 24 hours to make the best game, whoever has the best game at the end, wins.

24 hours, and you're not allowed to use pre-made stuff. Hit this if your willing to man up in front of the entire gm community.

You are the n00b. Now GTFO.

Also, I have made better games than you could ever hope to.

EDIT: Oh, really? Well then, lets see some of your games.

Because I have my pride. Why would I make rules I wouldn't follow? This is towards theg721, Davve, Rusty and StupidStudios, all who doubted me. I'm here to man up and prove myself, but it looks like they're not willing to put their necks on the line when it's not on PM.

Yeah, I would do it, but off course you aren't pointing at me.
I'd beat you fast...
Anyways why do you have against n00bs?
Fred Fredrickson posted that he MIGHT look out for n00b calling.
[EDIT]
Dude, wait a few days. It takes time until they are on. Or until they might see this post.

I bet you have something to compensate for... Anyway, this place doesn't work like: "Behold! I, THE MIGHTY NEWB, HEREBY CHALLENGE YOU!" and then we all bow down like "Yes my lord, we'll make a reasonably good game in a day!" an then let you submit somebody else's game/clone with ripped sprites.
I'm out.

This topic is retarded, you can't create anything worthwhile in just a day, other than a tiny minigame.

Indeed. And even then its probobly nothing better than a crappy copy of Catch the Clown.

Also, JamesSanchez, you make a game in a day. Then look at the games we 'n00bs' have made in a few weeks/months. Well, which ones are better? Your the one who said that you could make a better game than we could in 'our entire lives'. So prove it.

Wait, **** it, I'll make something, but I can't spend more than like 80 minutes on since I have school and ****. Is it alright if I use a script set I made before? Then I'll submit my entry in like 2 hours, otherwise I don't think I can make it.

You want me to show you up?

Fine I'll show you up.

I have about 6 hours.

Edit:
I'll have to start a bit late. I'm sure you can look after yourself while I'm gone. I need to attend to the outside world.

You do realize, of course, that this is a learning community, don't you? People typically come here when taking their first steps into any sort of game creation endeavors. The people that have a strong grasp on the game design process wouldn't even dream of considering their design documents finished after only 24 hours.

If you want to hold a contest, I suggest you create a clear guideline for what you expect of a friendly competition. Inflammatory comments, including insults and calling people out, do not help to further the community in any way.

why is this a seperate topic?

We have a complete pinned topic for competitions..

Or actually: why is this a topic at all! - If you have problems with certain people than talk about it on PM!

This person is talking more sense than most people that have replied.

24 hours is enough time to make a game but it isn't enough time to make a great game. You'd have to have a pre-made game design document and a selection of pre-made engines. And really what is the point in making a a half-assed game just to stroke the particpants ego, you should be aiming to accomplish great things not medicore things. Now I don't know why these people "doubted" you or even what they "doubted" you about but I'd say if this is the way you respond to sceptism you likely won't be able to achieve whatever they are doubting you about. If you were to handle the situation a tad more maturely you'd have taken the sceptism and achieved whatever it is that these people doubted you could achieve.

If you have a premade design document either on the paper, computer, or your head, you may make a simple game in below 24 hours.

Examples for the statement:
Spoiler
Perhaps it would be wise to announce a 'competition' on the weekend, when everyone have more free time.
