NOTE: At this time I am no longer accepting results. I have started compiling them into a format that I will then publish. We had 118 people who responded to th survey. Thanks!

Results Published: https://docs.google....vc8r_37d7n2nndx

If you appreciated the time I put into this survey or found the results useful, please consider taking some time to play my games or click on my Neuculi sig, thanks. (This is another example of good marketing.)

Okay, so I've often wondered exactly what kind of marketing for my games would work best, and no doubt many of you have also wondered the same, so I decided recently to put together a small survey that might help to explain all this, and the Game Maker Games Marketing Survey was born.

So, if you want to participate in the survey, just follow this link, which will take you to a Google Docs Form. Fill out all the required questions, and submit the form.

The Game Maker Games Marketing Survey

That's it, easy!
And, best of all, I'll publish the results in a month or so, so everyone will be able to share the knowledge I collected.

EDIT: This survey is also being conducted on YYG forums, and I threw something out on the Game Jolt chat board. If any body else has any other ideas about where to share this survey (should only be administered to game maker game players/devs.), let me know. Also, if you want to be e-mailed the results, send me a notice at gmlhelp@yahoo.com (using e-mail so I can bulk send).

Thanks,
A saurus1

How do you guys want the survey delivered. I can put it all in a word document, and upload that, or I could make images and put them in a Google Docs presentation, and give out a link. Any other ideas?

I'm kinda thinking a high powered projector aimed at the moon, then we can all pull out our telescopes and check it out.
Alternatively, I think a simple text document would be satisfactory for me, though if you want to make it look pretty that's fine too :)

Doesn't matter to me. The information's the important part, not the presentation :P .

But if you want to make it look pretty, then yeah, a Google Docs presentation works, too ;) .

-IMP ;) :)

WikiLeaks won't exist anymore by the time this survey finishes. Isn't that right, America?

They moved, to Switzerland. Source.
The only country on the planet with an awesome legal system.

Thanks a lot, corrupt US Government.
