EDIT: As of today's Game Maker update (7.5.66), my extension has been obsoleted by YoYo: you can now use ~/ and it will work properly in Game Maker. There's no more need for this extension, however, you're free to use it if you want. Thank you, YoYo!

Get Home is a simple extension exclusive to the Mac.

Get Home lets you overcome a limitation on Game Maker, and it lets you access the Home folder of the user the game is currently running on. This can be useful for a variety of reasons, such as accessing /Library/ to save game information on the proper Mac way.

It also happens to be the very first Game Maker extension (dylib) that was written and works for the Mac.

Get Home includes a simple help file that tells you how everything works. It includes an example file that demonstrates how it works, and it includes a few GML scripts that make it easier to use it.

Get Home is also Open Source Software!

Note to mods: this extension is Mac exclusive, and thus I placed it here because it's where Mac users frequent the most. An exclusive extensions forum for the Mac would be nice.
