[Cesque]

Avarice is a short 3d game made for a 64digits Halloween competition. It's created in GM8, the file is slightly over 5 MB.

It's not really an adventure game, but rather a storyline-driven game with some exploration and a combat sequence, it just didn't fit in anywhere else. Not to be confused with an RPGMaker jRPG with the same title

You can think of the game as a project to try out the 3d engine. All comments on the engine itself (and how you like the cheesy graphics and the combat) welcome.

The storyline is based on the Pardoner's Tale from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales.

Warning: Gore (well, 3d pixel blood and some murders going on).

Simple game, only took me 5 minutes to complete and it was quite predictable, but I liked it
The graphics work well even though they aren't complex and there's quite a bit of variety in it.

Lol nice... was enjoyable, would be good if it went a bit longer, but I'm sure you made it really short intentionally.
I think you should change that horse riding sound... and make the animation for the horse a little bit faster.
