Where to start, where to start...

Alright, well this game is fully playable, and has a solid amount of gameplay hours. First of all, for help in the game, or to register to play online, please visit www.pycoforums.com/gff. This is the official forum for Pokemon Twilight, and gameplay discussions should be posted there to avoid spamming this topic.

While this game can very well be considered complete, since we will be releasing future patches and updates, for now I've posted it in the WIP on the GMC so I can get user input on how to improve it. It will be moved to the GM CREATIONS once I've finished up the 8 gyms.

PT Online requires nothing but a forum account on our forums. You won't need to port forward, or give out your ip address. Its all secure and safe, and easy to use. Pokemon Twilight supports multiple servers, but there is a default server set up in Western United States. We're currently working on an Australian server and a UK server. Please be patient as we work on getting these up and running. Uploading/Downloading Pokemon and Mystery Gift require nothing more than an internet connection, and do not require you to connect to our servers. If the server is ever offline please be patient and wait until we can get it back up and running. Do not post in this topic that the server is offline.

Haha came back a couple years later and was like "what a load of wasted time" so yeah I re-opened the project. Although I'm sure there are still some glitches to squash here and there ;)

You'll be happy to find that your sprites are still in it XD Even used your creepy trainer sprite as Giovanni.

The_Recruiting has overdosed with ...excitment :D This is like my favourite PKM GM Game, I remember stubbling across it when I was extremely newbie and playing it for hours. So glad you finished it, congrats it looks awesome :)

Thanks :) Right now its like 5-6 hours gameplay if you aren't catching pokemon, playing online, or messing around with secret bases. Can't wait to release patches and stuff. It's gonna be fun :)

The dialog is pretty painful to read.
"I'd better go check everything is okay!"

After a few minutes I pressed "Escape" and it ended the game right away, I hope I lose any data.

Escape should not end the game immediately. You should include a "Do you really want to quit without saving" message. Besides that the game seems fine although there are a few minor details which are wrong such as the direction of people when exiting them on a battle, the bag/dex not quitting into an open menu and battle timing, but otherwise it seems very solid.

It's not hating, it's called being honest and telling you what's wrong with your game which would be the dialog and the game closing right away.
Although I meant to say "I hope I didn't lose any data".

Haha when escape gave you an option like that people hated it. I guess everyone has their own opinion. And yeah, a few minor details need to be polished up. Thanks for the suggestions.

Think of it like this; if you've been training for a few hours and you accidentally tap esc; you really wont be too happy. Also note that saving didn't work out too well for me the second time I tried to save, although that may be incorrect as I have a tendency to tap X and Z interchangeably... D:

EDIT: Do you realize that PT is using 1/3 of a gig of RAM and 11-13% CPU? O.o

Best GM pokemon game ever. There are still a few glitches, but it's a solid game, and the multiplayer is great fun :D

Yes, its always used a lot of RAM and CPU. lots of resources being used at one time. Not much I can do, the game is just getting so epically massive haha.

And I'll add in the prompt to exit with escape :P

Oh wow. Can't believe this has been resurrected!

It runs really well and has a good plot. I understand the complexity of a working pokemon engine so I feel the need to congratulate you majorly!

There are one or two slight glitches with animations in the overworld aspect but I didn't find anything major.

My only comment would be that some of the graphics feel a little outdated with the way the actual pokemon games have gone. I suppose that's really a matter of personal preference depending on which generations you played and which you feel nostalgic for etc.

Great work! Keep it up :)

Online battling does not currently work, but you can trade instead.
Battling should be coming in one of the future patches.
