How do you change the cursor/mouse appearance in the game, i've searched and searched and found nothing. please help! :(

Well, if you use pro, then use this action :GM106:
If you dont use pro then make a sprite and in step event of the cursor object that you make then jump to mouse.x and mouse.y
And dont show cursor in global game settings.

ummm, what event do you use? and is it create object at mouse?

Instead of making a new object imitating the cursor, add this script:
//set_cursor(spr,show)
// argument0 - your own cursor image : sprite or noone
// argument1 - show the default cursor : true or false
cursor_sprite=argument0;
if !argument1
window_set_cursor(cr_none);
else
window_set_cursor(cr_default);
and use it in a piece of code like this:
set_cursor(spr_cursor,false);

okay, i changed the cursor but the cursor won't go past a certain part of the room, is it the depth? because I have no idea what the depth part was.
