Dispoookable!

Dispoookable is a 3D zombie shooter, where you take down multiple onslaughts of nasty (but quite comedic) zombies!
Use 5 different weapons, including an Axe, Pistol, Machine Gun, Shotgun and Vacuum Shredder (quite a laugh).
Can you survive all 15 waves?

Controls

Camera View - Mouse
Attack/Shoot - Right mouse click
Move - (Right hand: WASD) (Left hand: Arrows)
Swap to secondary weapon - (Right hand: Q) (Left hand: ctrl)

Zombies ocassionally drop weapons, so simply touch the weapon to pick it up.

Small facts:
-Made in GM 8
-4.3 mb zipped and 20.7 mb upzipped
-Models are self made

-Smooth Collision
-Better bullet smoke

Hey nice game! The main thing is it works, and works well. However, I did find the collisions to be a bit buggy. Try to make it so the play slides instead of getting stuck and having to back up entirely. Also, maybe implement a jump?
All in all, quite a good engine, and much could be done with this. More levels, modes, guns, and maybe even multiplayer.

Thanks, walkingbush. :) I will work on the collision issue. And I'm looking forward to doing more stuff with the game in the future.

Oh also, some other things I forgot to mention, sorry. You might want to work on the gun smoke. It looks kinda wierd. The other thing is that you should let the player know where the damage is coming from. It is so annoying dying and not knowing how or where.

I found this very fun! It thought your models were very good, but I thought the pixelatedness/rectangularness of the zombies detracted from the game. I also think it very badly needs a map, as several times I was killed because I couldn't tell where they were coming from. There were also a few spaces where there were tight squeezes. I also liked the name! Overall, good job so far! I will be coming back to see how it comes along!

Thanks, Gioku. :) Yeah I might implement a radar further down the track. Can be quite annoying when your ambushed.

Maybe you could make the map less... graveyardy? Maybe you could make that area you have now a courtyard, and surround it in walls or some sort of complex. It would be more fun I think ; )

More like in COD? Always a good idea. :) I won't scrap the map I have, but I could always make more sophisticated maps in the future.

Well, sure like cod I guess. Maybe for the zombies you could us mp potential step object but have the image always facing you and then just create them outside the map and have them come in through entrances knd of like in cod as well.

You should have multiple maps, but keep this one! I like the idea of the courtyard. I think you should have a swamp and/or a warehouse sort of place. But I was wondering..... why is there a random wooden wall on the map you have? It is really weird.

Walkingbush, mp potential step would be a good idea, I was thinking of using it back before I released the WIP, just forgot though. And Gioku, good suggestions! As for the wooden walls, I'm not too sure. >_<
They were going to make up a small hut, where Zombies would have to tear it down. But I might come back to it. :)

Yeah make the hut thing with walls. I was actually imagining a 3d version of my zombie tds haha. It would be perfect.

Though I wasn't going for a dramatic, thrill style effect.
Hence the female zombies.
But I can work on it!
