Ahkay.

Anyway another suggestion is to change the lighting and make it a bit more dynamic. I mean like, at the moment the whole map is lit up (unless your on a special level like "The Darkness".) Set objects that emit light, and areas where there are no lights are dark where the player can't see zombies lurking. This would be particularly good in "The Darkness" level and the "Factory Part 2" where the lights go out, have the lights lit up at first but they start to flicker through the rounds and eventually go pitch dark so you can only see with the torch.
Also you should get zombie moaning, attacking and dying sounds too to add realism :)

Ye, i have been thinking about the lighting, alot.
I just have no idea how i could make lights.. Except like making an "light-texture" for every map with the lights.
But i have no idea how to make dynamic lights, like real dynamic lights.
But anyways, i can try something, see what i can do about it!


Oh!
I have been fixing some bot's actions, like reviving another bot didn't work as it was supposed to, but now it works like clockwork!
And i have been improving some graphics, for example, take a look of the new AK47:

And just saying, that i have so much going on right now at my life, and i don't know how long i'm going to do stuff with GM
But what i know, is that i'm going to make UFPS, and ZKW finished before i stop making games.
But i think that everyone knows that these updates are the last ones for ZKW.
Anyways, keep playing, i keep updating!

Dunno but there must be tutorials and examples somewhere.

Love the new gun and AK47 graphics.

Is there some way to show health? At the moment it's just random deaths when you get hit by one zombie after getting hit by a heap a few rounds back. There should be some way to show the health bar and have medikits and armour.

Also another suggestion is to replace the 'Bots' tab with a 'Team' tab where you can add bots then customize their name/clothing etc. (have it when your mouse is over them their name and health shows?)

I have been thinking, that maybe they could even talk to each other and stuff.
But i dont know, wi'll see.
But yes, that is an good idea!

Oh!
And you CAN see your health, you have been able to see your health for a very very long time.
The player has 10 healths, and whenever he loses 1, he gets bloodier.
So when you are all covered with blood, then you should be running away from zombies :P

Ah, I have not noticed it. Thanks for telling me! :)

The bots could talk to each other kinda, calling for help when needed reviving, yelling taunts when blasting a heap of zombies, etc.

Also by the way I found a light engine for the dynamic lighting although it's for top down, I think it could be possible to implement it in side view.

Well, im a kinda guy who doesn't want to copy others stuff :D
Anyways, i have been making this "simple shadows" engine for an hour for now, and it is going pretty well..

Elloo everyone!

I'm trying to make the new (and sadly, last) version of ZKW for x-mas!
The new version will have
-new map(s?)
-costumes
-lots of PERKS
-better AI
-some cool and new stuff to menu
-ZKW-Points!
-over-leveling (you can make your profile to level 1 again after you have reached level 35. This makes collecting ZKW-Points ALOT easier)
-new weapons
-new skins for some old weapons
-lights!(?)
-new kinds of zombies!
-new game modes!
-level editor! (?)
-STORY MODE!
-info from every levels (like story for each level)
-chatting bots!(?)
-And other cool stuff :P

So, yes. Life changes prioritys, and i dont have that much time for game making anymore. And because of that, i'm "retiring" out from game making, but i still want to make the one, last, best version of ZKW! And i really hope that people are still playing ZKW. I have had really fun making it, and i hope that you guys have had really fun playing it!
Thank you for all of your supportive comments and everything! It was really awesome to see that some people really loved the ZKW, and it was really awesome, that someone(s) even made a freaking commentary of ZKW!! Thank you GMC!

Thanks to my friend, the ZKW is really going online!
Dont ask me how long it will take. More than 2 weeks for sure! Maybe a month or two. I will tell you report to you everytime when something happens! :P

I don't know if anyone has said this, short for time, but you should incorporate the skill shot system from Bulletstorm. With the better Zombie kills, the more points you'd get and you could actually have a scoreboard which updated weekly for the Zombie Kill of the Week.

Hey guys!
I dont know what got in to me, but i got a HUGE motivation bomb or something whatever today for ZKW, and made so much stuff in it :D
And just saying, im going to make just one more version of ZKW before our online coder starts working on it.
And i think that i get the new version for you in week or two! So keep your eyes open!
I made 1 new weapon (Famas, WHICH IS PICK-UP WEAPON!), 1 new perk (Steroids-> Makes the player stronger and increases the damage to melee weapons!), made the 3 first maps unlocked right from the beginning! (The town, The Darkness, Outdoors) and the other 4 maps are now unlockable! Made the bots AI even more intelligent (although they are still stupid xD ) and u know, fixing some bugs :D

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN GUYS!!

TOMORROW IS THE DAY FOR THE NEW BEGINNING OF ZKW!!!
I will release the latest version of ZKW tomorrow!
The new version includes:

I've seen this game around a lot, so I finally decided to try it... I remember this topic being ridiculously active around the time I joined the GMC and I totally see why. It's pretty epic. Haven't played long enough to unlock anything (or even level up), but it's got good replayability, especially with the online scoreboards.

I'm not normally a fan of zombie stuff, but this managed to be different and I enjoyed it. Nice job. :)

Yessss, i remember that time too :3
I think it was because of the online game that was coming, but then something happened and we stopped making it. But now we are making it all over again with a new team!
And u know, it's awesome to get comments, specially from new players! Thank you man!
