I suppose I had better not congratulate them and not tell xot that I like his new avatar then.

Good luck, Fred and xot! I'm sure you will be worthy successors of KC LC.
Was that better?

@Shadowrend, psychologically speaking, the faults someone picks to confront are more often than not faults of their own. 1) There was no provoked reason for you to assume that is what he was implying, 2) "I don't give a **** if I get warned for this" hints at your own guilt as you defend yourself.

You are obviously not familiar with how things work here, we greatly appreciate and support our moderators and admins because they do a good job and care about the community, which is often not the case with other forums. If you assume others are merely trying to get brownie points by completementing an Admin, at least we know where you have come from. Please try to show the other members respect, and give them the benefit of the doubt instead of attempting to tear them down and ruin their reputation.

As for the admins, congratulations, you two have been good mods, so I am sure you will be great admins. ;)

This probably bothers me more than xot, but I HATE when people call xot 'Xot', with a capital X. It's xot. Lowercase.

I always use an uppercase latter for names, whether it actually starts with one or not. I just do it to distinguish the username as a name, not a typo-ed word, often for the benefit of the less experienced members who perhaps don't know the staff here.

The GMC just has to nitpick something, dont they? :P

I don't give a **** if I get warned for this. People should learn to gain other's respect not like this, but really.

Thats basically saying that giving a complement of any kind to any admin is "@$$ kissing" as you pretty much put it.

Ah, yes, creative license in naming conventions being totally ignored. It's almost made me regret spelling my name with an uppercase, uppercase, lowercase, repeat. I usually try to mimic a user's specified casing, but I almost always drop the numbers and x's, and replace underscores with spaces (except in rare times like that of score_under).

Anyway, I don't think I've congratulated Fred and xot yet. As others have pointed out, this seems like kind of a silly thing to do. After all, they've not got more work and still no pay, which is mainly a loss. So, I do not congratulate them for having a larger workload, but for having gained the trust and respect of YoYo. You two certainly have earned that.

Geeze, I didn't mean I'll eternally shun anyone who ever blatantly miscapitalizes a worthy administrators name. It's just a pet peeve.
