Hello GMC,

I have been a GM user for a while now and so I have though that I will try to learn c++. However at the moment I do not have enough knowledge of it to make a game. I therefore still make my games in GM. I still use GM7 because I do not yet have enough money for GM8.

The other week I was required to re-install windows vista and with it GM. I then added my key again and it was successful, or so I thought. I closed it down and reopened it but for some reason it decided to revert back to lite mode again. So I closed it and then for the first time I ran it as an administrator to see if that was the problem. It wasn’t. I added my information again to find that it has apparently been used in a successful installation.

I emailed support@softwrap.com and as of yet not had an answer after 48 hours. This made me think that because of GM8 coming out, softwrap does not now support GM7 and that I need to buy GM8.

Do I need to just wait longer or will I need to buy Gm8. All help is welcome

I would buy GM8 if you are able. It is better than GM7, and most people now use GM8 so if you want to collob or post an example or something, it's easier and more compatible.

Thanks. They finally got back to me and now I have a licence reset key. Only thing is I've not got this key spare because I thought £16 isn't too much and so I brought GM8.
