So you want "tool" to be similar to it...how about:So, what would that be descriptive of, Fred? I'm afraid that with GM being a tool, that wouldn't make much sense.

This must be one of the worst suggested improvements thusfar. For reasons stated above changing the name would be very counter-productive to increase the number of users and sales.
Although I would like to see another GM version that will compile for all platforms and be more code oriented Game Maker should definitely NOT change its name.
