Hey, guys. I was just asking, My game will be an epic GTA/RPG game, but I got a question about it. Is it legal to use music from other video games? Because Sonic 1 and 2 Genesis, Rampage World Tour, and... a little bit more are perfect. If so, how do I contact the other companies about it? Please help, my website is under construction. And yes, my games will be sold there.

I'm just taking a guess at this, but I think that if you want to use their music, you get permission and see what they let you use it for. They should tell you if you have to pay for commercial use, but they probably won't allow it. So look around the internet, heck, even some of the categories on GMC for free music to use commercially. Some of these people on free music sites are really good composers. Write your own. newgrounds.com is a flash development site that has lots of music. Just ask the author for permission and they will probably give it to you in turn for credit.

Hope this helps!
