For some reason the mouse_x and mouse_y fail hard when you dynamically add a room. I need to figure out a way to solve this. Thank you for your help.

Heres my GM8 file:
Download iMapMaker.gmk
And the image Im trying to load:
Download image.png

Because it's ridiculously big, and you don't have views, and you've set fullscreen mode to scale the game to fit the screen, and probably several other things too.

Your problem is with your image, If you shrink the image to 640X480 it will work fine. If you need it I can do this for you.

But I have the room changing its size to the size of the image. So why would it cause this?
room_set_width(tha_edit_room, background_get_width(tha_edit_bg));
room_set_height(tha_edit_room, background_get_height(tha_edit_bg));

Because the room is scaled to fit the screen, in the Global Game Settings.
