Done. It's still working

Amazing. There are lots of people who wish they knew how you did this.

So do I. O_O

I'm using Windows XP. I don't know if that would have to do with anything...

Probably not, I use WinXP (SP3) too.

do all yours look like this when installed (either normally or manually)... is it the same version/name... make sure all that is working... then exit firefox and restart in firefox safe-mode. try a game in safe mode and switch back to normal mode. then it should work. (it did for me just now) im using 3.6.3
if not simply get chrome... its fast and will do the trick

I'm having troubles as well, and have had to use Google Chrome to play games. I really don't like Chrome that much, so I hope this gets solved.

Here is my fix for Firefox:

1. Download this to your desktop or something.
2. Drag the file onto the Firefox window.
3. Your done.

Revel, did you actually get that to work for FF 3.6.3 ? As discussed earlier in this topic, and in Mike's blog (see posts above), that method doesn't seem to work on FF 3.6.3 for most people.

I downloaded that link to the desktop, dragged it to Firefox, installed the adon. Restarted firefox, loaded yoyogames, tried to play Crime Life 3, the graphical image that shows the loading bar never did anything but it did load the game ten seconds later. Then, I quit, went back to this tab, and Firefox crashed.

I have Firefox 3.6.3 with Vista.

After having my original topic closed, and being directed to this topic, I could only assume people were getting the same error that was being thrown at me: "install script not found". I posted a fix for this problem I was having. It turns out people are having a problem that differs from mine, which renders my fix invalid.

Sorry if the fix doesn't work for you..

Revel, what's different in your "fixed" version? The official YYG version doesn't work for me, but yours does.

I would like to know that too... great fix though. Now I can play directly from the site without downloading it in my files...

I have been trying to install instant play, but an error keeps occurring. This has been happening for about a couple of weeks.

But of course the error isn't significant enough to describe.

Do you think that just maybe the error message might just contain enough information for others to help you?

Did you try the troubleshooting section in the wiki?

I had the same error, "install script not found", Revel's version works for me with FF 3.6.3. Putting the dll straight into the plugins folder worked for me too.
