I was impressed by this game's visual & audio style. I found it to be difficult, but I never was good at rhythm games. Also, interestingly enough, I could actually picture this being played on a PSP.

Awesome awesome awesome. This is fun, original, polished and pretty. Funny too, you can really see the effort you put into this with the rapping dialog and plethora of eye candy. Only thing: why did you use arial font for the scores and such? You could have done much fancier.

Good luck in the competition!

I just beat the story mode myself. Incredibly fun and hillarious. ^_^ It's clear that various tallents (musical, artistic, and with programming) went into this game. I did come across a bug on my way (I found that if I paused and opened up Firefox or something, and then came back to the game, the node lines became visible), but that's only a minor gripe.

oops lol i forgot about that
if you press the space bar is shows the node lines for debug purposes
just another one of the many small tweaks i am forbidden to make until the judging ends

This game is stylish, polished and has great rythm gameplay. It also has great audio and the PSP is a audio-oriented device, so good job for this flawless design, everything works well as a whole.

Holy mother of God... I thought I might have a chance at placing until I played this! Very nicely done. Amazing gameplay, outstanding graphics, and just perfection.

The only issue I had was a major one. I was playing through Story Mode, and all of a sudden I got a Windows error: "NJBJ_comp_final3.exe has stopped working". So a crash...

But up to that point, I was fascinated. Nice job to all of you ^_^ .

-IMP :P :D

*EDI*T If it helps, it crashed just before I was about to attack an enemy...

I love this game, it's incredibly smooth, has tons of small yet incredible details and it's fun in all! Though the gameplay reminds me of wubly, you still managed to make it original and pretty damn fun. Awesome. Job.

Haha, fantastic! The intro and menu alone were awesomely done. Rhythm ninjas, hehe, quite an interesting blend. Aside from simplistic text in the story and score display, this game's a pleasure to play!

Groovy.
My money would be on this one to win First Prize.
Nice gameplay... polished... stylish...
& absolute perfect "fit" for PSP.

Great work!

Thanks for all the feedback guys its greatlly appreciated :P

@ IceMetalPunk

Im afraid that i really dont know what caused that
Did a game maker error message pop up? Cus if not it sounds like the game either entered an infinite loop somehow or maybe it was just your pc. Come to think of it some of my friends with really low end netbooks have had the game crash a few times.
Sorry i cant help on that one mate

No GM message; just a Windows crash. That does usually happen if a GM game hits an infinite loop, either through an actual code loop or a loop in events (i.e. creating in the create event, redrawing in the draw event, destroying in the destroy event, etc.). My laptop is not that bad, actually. Win7 Ultimate, 3GB RAM, 1.83GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, DX11.

Really, I don't think my PC is the problem... probably just a fluke situation in the game I got myself into triggered some loop.

-IMP ::lmao:: :P

amazing graphics and idea. pretty fun gameplay, a little short though. i beat the game in 15 minutes. Got straight A's as well. Only found one secret though =\
lol the boss was way to easy, beat him first try.

I wish the music and notes actually synced like a rhythm game normally does xD but even still, pretty cool game. There's some replay value but without finding the secrets to unlock the challenges, the games pretty short.

I can't decide between a 4/5 or 5/5 but i think u no wat u deserve xP

This was a a really nice loking, polished game. Reminds me alittle of elite beat agents, somehow. My only complaint is that its a bit hard. It gets kinda frustrating, especially when it looks like you nailed the button-press, but it turned out you didnt. I would have liked some more feedback there, like a noise or something that tells you if you press too fast or too slow. Also, starting over too often really kills the flow, which in this kind of game, is so extremely important. Its like playing guitar hero, if you had to restart the song every time you missed a note.

Its definately a well made game, and with a few tweaks it could be a classic.

Thanks for all the feedback guys
Theres now a youtube video HERE
So if you liked the game, you can repay me by spreading that link to all of your friends

@ TheMordeus
there are a few tweaks i meant to make before the game was released but unfortunately 3 months just isnt long enough
Still, after the judging i should be able to make a few small adjustments

This has the greatest presentation of any Indie game I've ever played. It seriously looks like it was made by a big company.
As for the concept, it is really good too. The game was very fun to play, and it will definitely make it to the Hall of Fame.
I've never seen anything like it before. The presentation was unbelievable.
