Hey I was just wondering how many people play farmville, since it is clearly very popular.. I heard that the owners of farmville are making over $50,000 a day! So who here plays farmville?

I've heard of it, but I'm not that interested in playing it.

That video is entirely correct. I played Farmville for a few months; it destroyed my life. I got barely any sleep boring myself to death but I just...couldn't....stop!! I eventually managed to not play for a day and haven't played since. I don't ever plan to again... *shudder*

Farmville is alright. It's not that hard to stop playing, but it is addicting.
I play it everyday, and I think I will keep playing until I get a Villa.

Flash games are overrated, like world peace or medicine.

I playe it for a while. Didn't really have that much fun.

I will occassionally do some Farmville work. But it's something that I'm not usually checking.

My parents play games like that on Facebook, but I'm far too busy mini-nuking super mutant behemoths in Fallout 3 or going through the utopia of Rapture while watching out for splicers in Bioshock.

I used to, though Mafia Wars took more Facebook time.

I'm a Zynga boycotter. They are constantly in court because all they do is steal other peoples ideas and use them to create sub standard games. FarmVille = Rip off of Farm Town. Marfia Wars = Rip off of Mob Wars. Cafe World = Rip off of Restraunt City. The list goes on.

And Sonic is a rip off of Mario, really what is the point of arguing semantics?

They are the same genre, but completely different games. Zynga games are more like fan games, the legalities of which are in constant debate. I just don't trust the company.

Looks like a huge, monotone timewaster.
Like neopets. Or animal crossing.
A game you can sink hours over hours into without any sense of progression at all.

Yeah, I can't really understand what the appeal of the game is. You kind of just do the same thing day in or day out...

In any case, it's amazing how popular these games are. Instead of saying "Some people like those games", you should have said "Practically everyone on Faceboook likes those games"

Why? Why should I have said that? Honestly, some people like those types of games.
He mentioned Animal Crossing as a game of that type, and I like that game.

I'm not even on facebook. (I've been on it once or twice) So that wouldn't make much sense for me to say, anyway.
