Hello, I am the Pixel Artist/Co-Creator for a project called "ConQuest".
I'm having a problem with the production of this game. I can't create the animations/pixel art fast enough for
my friend (Samdamana) the Creator/Scripter which slows down the creation of this game. Which is where you come in.
I need Units/Builds made and if ANYTHING (Usable) is created, your name will be put in the game.
If you contribute much you may get your own Cheat Code/Easter Egg/Etc in the game.

Evil has plagued the land. Criminals and Barbarians Rome the land in search of wealth. Poverty is wide spread and the Kings and Queens of this land are corrupt. This is were you are born, you will soon find yourself in a position of power. You can choose to be a "Praised and Honorable King" or a "Barbaric Warlord" all the same you will become powerful...

Credits


For every sprite you make it will be judged on the quality of the sprite.

Credit list

- 1-10 Points: Name in credits ascending down from the most points earned.
- 11-15 Points: Logo in Game Credits.
- 16-30 Points: Logo in Beginning of the Game.
- 31-40 Points: Your own cheat code.
- 50 Points: Hero power representing you.
- 75 Points: Put in the Hall of Fame in our Game.
- 100 Points: We will talk.

Can you double the size, Also there were a bunch of errors in the title that couldn't be changed. I asked a Mod for it to be removed.

Erm... you're not telling us the perspective that you want. If the perspective of those buildings is supposed to be realistic, then I've had a great laugh.

Same question here. I was asking for the perspective.

I mean, if someone were going to make a building in that perspective while keeping it realistic, it would be a bit hard to execute properly.

There is a whole game based of the perspective, The builds have the roofs on them. The Buildings that are displayed in ConQuest are just place holders.

@Skinetic, Its a bit to blockish for now, +2 points but in the future could you color and make it look more like a horse? :)

@MortalPico, +3 could you add a golden arrow to the top left?

yeah i could animate it but i would have to almost double the frame size to fit the arm

You may do whatever to the sprite as long as it maintains it size and general shape.
We need animations for:
Walking
Casting spells (multiple recomended)
Dieing
And any other you can think of,

I have finished the "Casting Spell" Animation , tell me if you want me to change it or fix it!

Here's the animation key frame:

box0 to box1 to box2 to box3

Alternate Animation:
repeat box1 to 3 twice(repeat only if the Spell was too long , do not repeat if not)

Okay , this one was finished under 25 Minutes using MS Paint and Game Maker 7 Pro!

Seems like a fun project and I may try helping.



The landscape is automatically generate so I'm not sure about a tileset. Also we have a special script for water that follows a path and yes we need an animated Calvary men.


P.S our project might be seriously delayed as we are considering doing the 05 contest for Money. C:

Do you like a specific one of the knights you would like me to shade more to your liking?
