Great Example! I rarely (well never) use any of these functions, except maybe the global variables, and I found the tutorial to be useful, it seems everyone who knows these functions has posted that they already know this. I have created an excellent game without these so far but now I'm sure I could cut out most of the code I did things the long way with =p and replace it with arrays. (Guess i must have missed this when learning GML) But again thanks for the example it's beneficial.

Ive been using GM for almost 2 years and until now I didnt understand for loops or how to use arrays. Your example made it clear what each were for, and I now realize how useful they are. Thanks :)
