Old projects - reposted

How does the game work
Paint everything in your color. That's it. There are many different bonus items that help the players to achieve this goal. The computer can also play against himself.

I decided to give the Game Maker (and especially my old projects) another go and release some of them (mostly in their current or in a slightly reworked state). This is one of these projects.

Download the updated version of 3D Painter War, including the source file (gm81)

(includes source code)

I'm open to any criticism and suggestions/comments.

I hope you like it.

It's good fun. Not sure how lasting it is though.

Two improvements I can think of are:
adding some indicator that shows you the direction you are travelling in (I got used to it but it's unneccesary initial confusion) ;
keep the precious player settings when a round ends so you don't have to tick in all the small boxes again.

I liked it :whistle:

Nice game, Its pretty fun.

Just a small improvement would be to change the color or size of the font on the menu, Only because i found it a little hard to read. Other than that its well made and fun to play.

I made a small update which should improve the framerate and which makes the game timing independant. The game is also open source now (though the code is not very cleaned up).

I made separate download for the new version.

I rewrote/changed quite a bit, so if you find bugs, please let me know.
