GM036.gif The game includes the online Server.exe which can be launched from within the game.

To host a server for online play you may need to forward port 14804, and you will have to tell people who you want to join the server your external IP address.

GM071.gif WARNING: Do no run multiple copies of the game at the same time- it will corrupt the game data and you will have to delete "save.dat" which will result in all data loss.

Yep they can indeed! Of course a server has to be running, and you need the external IP of that server, and the server host needs to forward the port (it tells you which on in the game). I remember when we both tried neither of us could host, so I'm hoping some other people can (I have had someone else host successfully so it can be done). I will host when I'm home for Christmas!

Wow, I love it! The AI is amazing. I noticed that I can boost really fast if I jump and right-click at the same time. Is that supposed to happen?
I really like the large rooms.
However, the "story" could use some work.

Thanks for playing it :) Yes the jump boost is designed for a quick escape from hordes of bullets or a well place rocket :P

The story was actually taken from a game I made in a week about a year ago now for a competition, the whole idea of Fatal Tournament was to expand upon that (and believe me its 100x better), but for story I pretty much left it as it was- the main focus here was on Suvival and Time Attack- which i personally prefere than Story anyway- the challenge of beating your (and the online) highscores.

The large rooms are cool yes- most of those that are bigger than the generic screen size feature in online multiplayer- they're even better against real people! :)

Same, I'm home for a month now, so if anyone want a match I can host a server again just PM me when I'm online :)

I've played this online the last couple of days, and have noticed and fixed a few things, which I am surprised I hadn't noticed before I released it back in November!

-Fixed online play so that when you headshot someone it is added to your total headshots statistic.
-Fixed a bug where weapon boxes didn't appear in the 7th online room.
-Pressing escape now returns you to the previous menu screen, and exits the game if pressed on the main menu.
-Image angle of the gun in online play is now only sent if it has changed angle since the last check.
-Getting a powerup or weapon box in online play now updates your total powerups gained statistic.
-Fixed a bug where you would not splatter blood particles in online play.
-Fixed a bug where the game music would not play on first start up.
